Get to Know Brad Koenig, Your Local Home Team

I grew up on a farm just north of Watertown, WI.  Living and working on many farms has helped me to appreciate hard work.  I attended Lakeside Lutheran High school in Lake Mills. While there I ran cross-country and track.  My senior year our cross-country team won the school’s first state Championship.  I then moved on to UW Milwaukee to start my college career.  After 2 years I took a break then finished at Concordia University.

After college I worked in the retail management field while I trained for my real estate career.  While working a part time bartending job I met my beautiful wife Cheryl.  We have been married since 2000 with 3 children.  Hannah 8 years old and in 2nd grade.  Hannah is truly my princess. She loves to read, draw, paint and dance. She has also taken up tball, golf and downhill skiing.   Hailey is 5 years old and in a half day kindergarten class.  She is my wild tomboy.  She is constantly moving. It’s hard to keep up.  Hailey also enjoys downhill skiing and golf.   My heart melts when they ask if they can go golfing with me.  Jonathon is the latest addition to my family.  He is only 10 months old but so far he is all boy.   He loves his trucks and balls.

Well as you can guess, I love to ski and golf with my daughters.  I also enjoy running and staying fit.  I am training for my first marathon.  Someday I would like to complete an olympic triathlon.

I started in real estate because I really enjoy the technology and the people side of the business.   I enjoy helping buyers find their dream home.   After buying my first house I understand the emotions that buyers go through.
