Presented By: HBC Services, Inc. – a non-profit community agency serving the housing needs of Southeaster Wisconsin residents.
What’s Available?
Purchasing a home may be the greatest investment you will ever make!  The home buying process involves many considerations and challenges that we can assist you with.
The HBC Services, Inc. HCRIH “Home Sweet Home” Program provides a 0% deferred downpayment assistance loan towards the pruchase of a home in Jefferson and Waukesha Counties.  The funding can be used to pay for part of your down payment, all customary closing costs, prepaid items, reserves and home buyer counseling.
Eligibility
  • You have to be a first-time home buyer
  • You must obtain a first mortgage from a participating lender
  • The home must be located in jefferson County
  • Total household income cannot exceed 80% of the county medial income, adjusted for house hold size.
  • There are no asset limits
  • Pre-purchase counseling, is required
  • Purchase a single-family home or condominium and owner occupant
  • The maximum purchae price is $200,160 for a 1-family structure
  • The property must meet certain hosung quality standards
    You cannot reeive cash back from closing
